About us

INF Maavarad

INF Maavarad is active in the extraction and processing of construction mineral resources. The group has accumulated long-term experience and sector-specific expertise since 1993. We produce materials from construction mineral resources that the construction sector needs and consumes on a daily basis. We value the necessity of involving engineers, which is why the management and operation of our quarries are handled by mining engineers with practical experience and vocational certification. We cooperate with local communities and our clients to mitigate the impacts associated with our operations, to exchange experiences, and to develop together.

We are continuously engaged in searching, exploring, and commissioning new mineral deposits to ensure the long-term supply security of raw materials required in construction. Mining is currently taking place in nine counties and twenty-two quarries across Estonia (see the products and quarry locations). We are also active in sand refining, for which we have established a sand drying and processing plant in Kuusalu parish in Harjumaa (see the products).

INF Maavarad OÜ is a part of the the Infortar Group.

Environment and quality

INF Maavarad is a company with extensive experience in the mining sector, whose activities significantly support economic development by providing raw materials to the construction, energy, and many other industries. Quarrying unavoidably impacts the surrounding environment – changing the landscape and affecting water, air quality, and biodiversity. It is crucial for us to prevent and mitigate these effects to the maximum possible extent during every stage of work.

We place environmental and social responsibility at the core of our focus. We regularly conduct environmental monitoring, and we develop and implement modern solutions that enable us to continuously make our operations more environmentally friendly. Upon the cessation of quarrying activities, our primary objective is to restore the land to its original state as much as possible, or to ensure its suitability for the local nature and ecosystems. We will apply for the necessary rehabilitation terms and conditions at the earliest opportunity and immediately prepare a rehabilitation project to ensure restoration work can begin as soon as possible. We verify the conformity of our products to requirements in an accredited laboratory. The latter provides an additional guarantee that the quality of the material supplied is stable and meets the required specifications.

In our production activities, we always focus on the client’s needs and ensure high quality in accordance with Estonian standards. The key to excellent results is close cooperation – we understand the specifics of every project and find the best solution together with the client. Our production is certified. For the most commonly used products, we issue a Declaration of Performance (DoP), and for special solutions, a Declaration of Conformity (DoC). Product compliance is verified in an accredited laboratory, which provides additional assurance that the material is of high quality and meets all requirements.
